First patented in 1982, Hydrographic printing is a proven method of applying extremely complex patterns to 3D objects without adding weight or losing overall durability. Though hydrographic printing is nothing new, today’s suppliers continue to create new and unique patterns while applicators are continuously developing new and innovative ways to take hydrographic printing to the next level. Available patterns include hundreds of different wood grain, carbon fiber, camouflage, and even designer brand patterns.
You may discover a variety of hydrographic applicators near you, or “DIY” kits available online, however, buyer beware that quality does tend to vary significantly between applicators and that “licenced applicator” does not necessarily equate to a pristine finish. At sketchs Ink, we pride ourselves in providing our clients with a premium quality finish every time.
